The Beginnings

Well... Here I am. I've been thinking about doing this for quite some time, so I guess right before summer starts isn't the worst time to get this going. Hopefully I'll be pretty regular, but no promises! Life is life, and it's meant to be enjoyed.

My vision for this blog is for it to be a place where I share little snippets of my life, my mind, and my experiences for both professional and fun purposes and to encourage a new perspective on life.

I want to remind myself (and others) that real life it's not just the big things -- the weddings, dates, births, moves, and changes. While those are amazing moments in life that should be celebrated and processed thoroughly, there are other important moments too.

They are strung throughout our days by the almighty Creator of the universe. They're little glimpses of the love He has for us and the thought He gives to our lives and our happiness.

It's the budding cherry blossoms...

that one little smile that the stranger gave you this morning...

it's the hustle and bustle to get to work on time...

the glimmer of the sun through the trees as you walk to class...

it's the five extra minutes you got to sleep this morning...

that last sip of coffee...

it's the little things that you see so much better when you stop trying to take in everything, slow down, and appreciate the little things.
